Academy Sports + Outdoors is Now Open at The Promenade!  The store kicked off it’s opening this weekend by inviting 30 children from the Evansville Boys & Girls Club to have a shopping spree.  This shopping spree is a soft opening tradition for Academy Sports & Outdoors which operates 183 stores across the country and is expected to employ about 140 – 160 associates at the Evansville store.  The Grand Opening saw hundreds of excited customers standing in line to be one of the first to enter the new store.  Located at The Promenade, Academy Sports + Outdoors is a great addition to the Evansville Community!
